Nice chest. Material is good quality. Instructions are ok, but they don't include how to put the hinges on the top and back. Easy enough to figure out but not sure which hardware to use for attaching to the back. The short flat screws don't fasten and the longer ones don't fit through the holes on the hinge. Terrible. There are no pre-prepared or marked screw holes to attach the hinges for the lid. The instructions are not clear. It now looks awful . If I can be bothered I will have to re-attack the lid to see if it can be lined up better. Do not recommend. Anonymous. Thu Mar 05 2026

Easy to put together - no problems like those in previous reviews. The item itself isn’t great quality as the veneer finish is either chipped or coming away at the corners which is a shame (hence 4 stars) Lovely colour though and the brackets make it nice and safe for a child’s room.
