Very disappointing experience with Wayfair mattresses. I ordered two foam mattresses (king and double) and specifically explained to the phone consultant that I wanted something similar to a previous mattress I had purchased from Wayfair, which was good quality. Unfortunately, the phone consultant clearly did not understand the request and sent very thin mattresses – around half the depth and significantly poorer quality than expected. Both mattresses were completely unsuitable and had to be returned. I placed the order via phone specifically to avoid errors, as the exact SKU from my previous order was out of stock — making the incorrect items even more frustrating. The returns process was equally frustrating. I was told: - A direct replacement was not possible - I would need to accept Wayfair credit and reorder - Or pay a £40 return fee if I wanted a refund to my original payment method When I asked what would happen if the replacement was incorrect again, there was no clear answer or reassurance and I was. told nothing can be done then. At that point, I had no confidence in reordering. I chose to pay the £40 just to resolve the issue and purchased my mattresses elsewhere instead. The elasticity properties ensure an undisturbed night's sleep even if your partner moves frequently in bed. The base of the mattress is 8” inches deep (approximately 21cm). Our pillowtop mattresses are handcrafted in our own factory using a combination of traditional techniques and modern technology to create a luxuriously comfortable and long-lasting mattress. Our cashmere 1000-pocket pillowtop features 1000 individually pocketed springs for a superior level of support across the whole area of the mattress. As the springs can move independently of each other this makes the mattress great for people with restless partners as it stops you from rolling together and will help prevent you from feeling them move on the other side of the mattress. The top of the mattress is padded with a natural cashmere and wool blended which helps to regulate temperature meaning the mattress will not get too hot. This is supplemented by an airflow system with vents on all sides to expel warm and moist air. With traditional side support and generous side stitching, the mattress will keep its shape even when you are sitting on the edge. This is the entry level version of the grey wavy longwave mattress at just deep. At its core, is the traditional double insulated -gauge open coil spring unit. This is topped with a layer of polyester comfort fillings, a layer of visco-elastic memory foam and finally the design quilted panel. A single sided mattress that will give the best performance and lifespan if rotated regularly. The mattress is compressed, vacuum packed, rolled therefore it does not come with side supports.
