Some nights you just run hot. The Emma Original Pro is built for exactly that — six layers, 27 cm tall, with ThermoSync® graphite foam at the top doing one specific job: drawing excess heat away from your body so your sleep temperature stays steady all night. The ThermoSync® layer is graphite-infused, engineered to conduct heat out rather than let it pool. Below it, Airgocell® foam keeps air moving, MemoryAdapt foam molds to your shape and eases pressure at your shoulders, hips and lower back, and SupportBase creates a firm, stable handoff to the spring core. That core is a 7-zone pocket spring system running edge to edge, with zones for your head, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and feet. The most precise zoning in the Original range. The feel is body-hugging. Medium firmness (3/5), with gentle cushioning at the surface and progressively more support the deeper you sink. Good for side sleepers, back sleepers and anyone who wakes up warmer than they'd like. The cover is soft, fully removable and machine washable at 40°C. UKFR certified. Try it for 100 nights. Not right for you? Returns are handled through Wayfair. The 10-year guarantee covers all foam and spring layers. Winner: Ideal Home Bedroom Award 2025.

Excellent matress so comfortable!. Katharine. Tue Sep 08 2026

Seven layers, one feeling: weightless. The Emma Original Elite sits at the top of the Original range, built around AirGrid® — a hyper-elastic polymer layer in a honeycomb structure that does two things nothing else in the range does. It lets air pass through thousands of open channels freely, no graphite, no gel, just passive cooling that works all night. And it bounces back the moment you move, so you're never stuck or working harder to shift position. Below it, Airgocell® foam keeps humidity moving, MemoryAdapt foam contours to your shoulders, hips and lower back, and SupportBase holds the whole structure steady. The core is a 7-zone pocket spring system covering your head, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and feet individually. At 27 cm tall with a medium soft feel (2/5), this is the most cushioned mattress in the range and the one most side sleepers reach for. The cover is a step up too: 64% polyester, 36% Tencel, thicker than the standard Emma cover and noticeably softer to the touch. Fully removable and machine washable at 40°C. NBF approved. UKFR certified. Try it for 100 nights. Not right for you? Returns are handled through Wayfair. The 10-year guarantee covers all foam and spring layers. T3 Platinum Award. Good Housekeeping Institute Approved 2026.

The mattress is finished with a luxurious stretch knit cover, providing a soft and breathable surface that enhances comfort while regulating temperature. Although this was an open box item, the condition is very good. I researched it carefully and know that it's well made of quite natural materials. It is probably the most comfortable mattress I can remember sleeping on. Only thing is it's deep and heavy so a bit tricky to lift for turning and changing the sheets. Night night . . .. Madeline. This results in improved alignment, reduced motion transfer, and a more stable, undisturbed sleep. Surrounding the spring system, layers of recycled comfort fillings provide balanced cushioning with a more considered material approach. These layers add depth and comfort while allowing the responsive spring system to remain the key support feature of the mattress. The mattress is finished with a quilted fabric cover, offering a soft, breathable surface that enhances overall comfort. Its dual sided construction allows the mattress to be flipped regularly, helping maintain an even sleep surface and extending the lifespan of the fillings. 7000 Pocket Spring Support System At the heart of the mattress is a responsive pocket spring system designed to deliver tailored support across the body. A base layer of 1000 full size pocket springs provides deep orthopaedic support and promotes proper spinal alignment. Above and below this layer sit 6000 micro pocket springs, with 3000 on each side of the mattress. These smaller springs respond to subtle movements and pressure points, enhancing comfort and creating a highly adaptive sleep surface. Together these layers form a responsive support system that adjusts naturally as you move during the night. Natural Wool, Cashmere and Silk Comfort Layers Both sides of the mattress feature generous layers of natural fibres including wool, cashmere and silk. These materials create a luxuriously soft feel while helping regulate body temperature. Wool offers excellent breathability and moisture control, cashmere adds gentle softness, and silk contributes to a smooth and refined comfort layer. Dual Sided Construction for Durability Designed to be used on both sides, the mattress can be flipped regularly to help maintain its shape and comfort over time. Rotating and turning the mattress allows the fillings to settle evenly, reducing body impressions and promoting longer lasting performance. Medium Firm Comfort Level The medium firm feel offers a balanced sleep experience that suits a wide range of sleepers. It provides enough cushioning to relieve pressure while maintaining the stable support needed for proper spinal alignment, making it suitable for back, side and front sleepers. I bought this earlier this month. It’s the best mattress I have ever owned. It’s so comfortable I can’t even explain it. It’s supportive but still feels soft. I’m riddled with arthritis and finally I can get comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.. Jen67. Cradley Heath, West Midlands. Fri Jul 31 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with I love it. I feel like I’m in a luxury hotel in my own bedroom. It was so easy to set up, it comes rolled in a box which made it incredibly easy to get to the right room, once you’re there - just put it on the bed and unwrap it. It soon springs back to life! I’m enjoying the depth of the mattress, it’s a good 5-7 cm thicker than my previous matress which has meant I needed some new sheets, a small price to pay for the comfort this mattress brings! The anti slip backing is perfect, it feels secure on the bed and the anti roll works like a dream. Having the support this mattress give during the night has not only improved my sleep but also my mornings. I’m no longer waking up with aches and pains. The zip of top layer for cleaning is a great feature, it makes cleaning the mattress so much easier. If you’re looking for a good quality mattress that’s built to last then look no further. You’ve found it!. Lucyc. Sun Oct 04 2026

Above the spring system, a memory foam layer introduces a more enveloping level of comfort. It gently conforms to the body’s contours, cushioning key areas and helping to relieve built-up pressure while maintaining alignment through the supportive base beneath. Recycled comfort fillings are layered throughout the construction, adding a balanced level of cushioning while supporting a more considered material composition. These layers help create a smoother transition between the responsive spring unit and the contouring memory foam. The mattress is finished with a quilted fabric cover, providing a soft, breathable surface that enhances overall comfort. The stitched design secures all internal layers in place, ensuring the mattress maintains its structure, consistency, and performance over time.
