Although this was an open box item, the condition is very good. I researched it carefully and know that it's well made of quite natural materials. This mattress is absolutely awful. Thin layer of memory foam on the top and what feels like a layer of ply wood. The springs are visible through the side of the wall of the mattress and there is so much movement if one of you moves whilst the other is laid still.
