Seven layers, one feeling: weightless. The Emma Original Elite sits at the top of the Original range, built around AirGrid® — a hyper-elastic polymer layer in a honeycomb structure that does two things nothing else in the range does. It lets air pass through thousands of open channels freely, no graphite, no gel, just passive cooling that works all night. And it bounces back the moment you move, so you're never stuck or working harder to shift position. Below it, Airgocell® foam keeps humidity moving, MemoryAdapt foam contours to your shoulders, hips and lower back, and SupportBase holds the whole structure steady. The core is a 7-zone pocket spring system covering your head, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and feet individually. At 27 cm tall with a medium soft feel (2/5), this is the most cushioned mattress in the range and the one most side sleepers reach for. The cover is a step up too: 64% polyester, 36% Tencel, thicker than the standard Emma cover and noticeably softer to the touch. Fully removable and machine washable at 40°C. NBF approved. UKFR certified. Try it for 100 nights. Not right for you? Returns are handled through Wayfair. The 10-year guarantee covers all foam and spring layers. T3 Platinum Award. Good Housekeeping Institute Approved 2026.

Pillowtop mattresses take sleeping comfort to the next level by including an additional top layer of padding in a sumptuous pillowed top section. This will help to evenly distribute your weight across the mattress making them great for any sleep position. This means front, back or side sleepers can benefit from the additional levels of support offered by the pillow top. Our pillowtop mattresses are handcrafted in our own factory using a combination of traditional techniques and modern technology to create a luxuriously comfortable and long-lasting mattress. Our cashmere 1000-pocket pillowtop features 1000 individually pocketed springs for a superior level of support across the whole area of the mattress. As the springs can move independently of each other this makes the mattress great for people with restless partners as it stops you from rolling together and will help prevent you from feeling them move on the other side of the mattress. The top of the mattress is padded with a natural cashmere and wool blended which helps to regulate temperature meaning the mattress will not get too hot. This is supplemented by an airflow system with vents on all sides to expel warm and moist air. With traditional side support and generous side stitching, the mattress will keep its shape even when you are sitting on the edge. As with all traditional fillings, the mattress will feel slightly firmer at first and should over the course of a couple of weeks settle into a medium feel.

It took a while to deliver and I was even delivered the wrong size at one point however Wayfair customer service was amazing which is why I keep coming back. The mattress is very comfortable and a massive improvement over my previous memory foam mattress. I honestly think it's because it's more natural. My sleep has improved and my hip pain lessened almost immediately. I find the mattress to be the ideal balance of support and comfort. There is a smell off the mattress which hasn't completely evaporated yet, I don't find the scent unpleasant but I grew up next to a farm so I may have a higher tolerance than most to natural odours. I would quite happily recommend this product obviously the mattress is quite new so I can't speak to the longevity of it although I do hope it does me for some time to come.. Lorraine. Airdrie, GB. Very good mattress, solid and durable. You need to get used to it and give it time to break in because at first might seem like it’s very hard and flat but after that it’s super comfy. Was sceptical at first because it felt really different to my previous mattress and felt too bouncy but once you get used to it it’s really nice to sleep on. It’s definitely mid- firm. I’d say give it a try if you’re thinking about purchasing…. Veronica. Fife, GB. Sun Mar 23 2025

Built to elevate comfort through precision support and weightless pressure relief, this 1500 pocket sprung aero foam mattress is designed to create a more balanced and effortless sleep experience. At its core, 1500 individually pocketed springs respond independently to body movement and weight, delivering a higher level of support accuracy. The increased spring count enhances contact with the body, allowing for more refined weight distribution and reduced motion transfer for a calmer, more stable sleep surface. Above this, a aer foam comfort layer works to evenly disperse body weight, reducing pressure concentration and creating a lighter sensation. This layer helps minimise strain on key areas while maintaining alignment through the supportive spring base beneath. Recycled comfort fillings are integrated throughout the construction, adding a controlled level of cushioning with a more considered material approach. The mattress is finished with a quilted fabric cover, offering a soft, breathable surface that enhances comfort while securing the internal layers in place. This ensures the mattress retains its structure, feel, and durability over time. Combining a higher-density pocket spring system with advanced pressure-relieving technology, this mattress is designed for those who want precision support, a more weightless sleep feel, and a refined level of comfort built for everyday use.
