Bought this due to lower back pain. Was a little unsure if it would be firm enough, but its great, i would describe it as medium/firm. It arrived well packed in plastic and was easy to manoeuvre upstairs, it opened up easily, I placed it onto the frame after 48 hours and have now slept on it for a week. Not had 1 single pain. Very good price and even if it lasts only a couple of years, I've got a bargain and I know that a change of mattress was all that was needed. I bought this for my teenage son. The under side (which is on the top in the pictures) is very filmsy! The mattress cover feels very synthetic. The mattress came rolled up and we left it for 2 days to stretch out (this is why it is upside down on the bed as it was curling up at the ends). This was bought for a family (gave me the money back), whose mattress had seen better days. They've enjoyed many restful nights on this new mattress and topper l also bought from Wayfair.
