This is the perfect sized at home play structure for our two year old. It took two men about 3.5 hours to assemble. It is sturdy and I feel comfortable with my toddler playing on it. Pretty easy to build all things considered. Loved the cedar scent in my garage as I pre-assembled several aspects. Ultimately, I would recommend building with a square handy as there are some parts that require “freehanding”. Two complaints is deck boards of the fort could use a little bit more support, and the design to get to the window underneath is a little tough. Have to crawl under something to get in.. I had mine installed right before some heavy rain storms that hit here in Texas recently. I was deeply concerened because I had seen the feed back about moisture getting through where the pergola is mounted to the house. I can say that very little maybe a few drops get through I believe as long as the pergola is installed at a slope it works just fine. the gutters themselves are relatively shallow so heavy rain will naturally overwhelm the drainage system but do to the pergola being sloped properly the water is deterred away from the house. if anything I just wish the gutter system was a little bigger.. great pergola for the money. Came well packaged and clear instructions. Took about 6-7 hours to assemble. Had a couple of warped boards but was able to correct the bend when I screwed them down. This is a great greenhouse. It took a while to assemble but I'm 75 years old.It was well worth it. Seems very sturdy and the fold-able shelves are a nice touch. Fast shipping. Building does take time. I’m a contractor and it took me 7 hour to complete alone. The directions were straight forward. It would be a challenge for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined. Furthermore, having your own tools cuts down the installation time, but having the required tools is pretty deep if you’re just a homeowner. I recommend this set. Once completed it looks great. We desperately needed to add shade to our backyard ahead of what we expect will be a very hot summer. I opted for the shade sail pergola instead of a full pergola because I want to be able to remove the shade sail in the winter to get as much sun as possible. Bonus - it's cheaper and quite simple to put together! The actual structure was - dare I say - easy to put together with two people. I did the parts inventory, reviewed directions, and would collect the necessary tools and fasteners for each step of the project, then hand over to my husband to assemble. Rinse and repeat. The only challenges we had were related to our non-traditional choice of installation method (using deck foot anchors from DecksGo - I suppose outing myself might void the warranty but it was the best choice for us). It just required us to make a few adjustments on the fly. We haven't been able to use it yet as it rained for 3 days since we installed, but very much looking forward to it. We will eventually build out a more proper patio but this allowed us to get it in the ground and then we can do the rest of the work under the shade.
