I’ve given this 4 stars as a part was damaged on arrival. However, it wasn’t a significant part so I didn’t complain. I was happy to receive the chair a week earlier than expected, though I still had to wait 2 weeks but given there must be lots of homeworkers wanting chairs due to covid, I didn’t mind. The instructions were pretty basic with no writing at all, just pictures, but I managed to figure it all and assemble on my own. There were no instructions for the levers in that to raise the seat level, you have to stand up first. The backrest moves backwards when you move the lever but doesn’t lock into position. A high-quality popular everyday operator ergonomic office chair that looks similar to market alternatives but has upgraded foam density, thicker foam, and a hard-wearing fabric back and seat. The permanent contact back mechanism means the seat can move up and down and the back of the chair can be tilted and locked to find a position that suits, or left to free float and be in permanent contact with your back.

I’ve not tried it for long yet but it seems very comfortable so far, and good value for money. A doddle to put together - I didn’t even need a screwdriver as there are no screws. It slotted together in under five minutes. The up and down mechanism works well and the tilts well too. The only reason I’m not giving it the full five stars is that there’s no retaining screw on the back, which means if you move it by the back it can slide up a bit but it’s not a big issue.
