This is a great desk for the price…. As long as you can manage realistic expectations. It took me around two hours to build solo… it’s pretty straightforward and all of the holes are pre-drilled so it’s easy to line it all up. The wood looks pretty, as long as you don’t look too closely, because then you can see the scuffs. At the end of the day, it’s cheap veneered wood and that’s reflected in the price… but it does the job and looks to be a higher spec quality than it is. The instructions are mostly easy to follow, but there is an error around parts 4 on the drawer section and it took me a while to work out why it didn’t fit. As a consequence, the back didn’t line up properly… it’s not a dealbreaker, but it was a time suck and frustrating. All in all, I would recommend this desk. We love our Marco desk for its clean modern design and practicality.

I am pretty delighted with the finished product… but what an absolute ball-ache to put together! It’s fine until you get to the drawer unit, then it’s a bit of a guessing game as the instructions are next to useless. Got there in the end so all’s well that ends well I guess. As an aside, pretty disappointed that this desk is so much cheaper if you buy direct (see Daals website - I looked it up when it arrived and I could see from the box where it came from).
