The basic material of the furniture consists of a certified 18 mm laminated furniture board with a white surface.

The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is that there are 2 black rectangular supporting pieces of wood at the centre of each side of the bed. These are not shown in any of the photos on this website. It is such a great looking bed, but unfortunately these bits of wood look cheap and detract from the design. We can't understand why they aren't made of the same wood as the feet or covered in the same grey linen fabric. Otherwise was easy to assemble and very comfortable.. Anonymous. New Malden, GB.
