Purchased SuperKing size. I Chose this to fit a MCM style decor and because the mattress goes to the edge of the platform. Due to the small bedroom I needed to save as much space as possible, and I hate knocking my shins against the sides of a bed. I am very satisfied with the bed frame. The colour is as expected, and is a warm brown. The Surface of the headboard is smooth, no rough wood or splinters. It appears to be strong and hasn’t shifted about or creaked. Just be aware that the headboard is made up of small pieces of wood, if you look closely at photos you will notice that. It wasn’t my first preference but I still ended up ordering it and I like it. The height available underneath is 14cm, so my underbed storage boxes didn’t fit under. I got new big bags that could squash under and I had a clear out too. We didn’t end up using the sticky strips that you’re supposed to place the mattress onto. My latex mattress is so heavy there’s no way it’s shifting anywhere. I did inadvertently order the assembly guys on delivery. So just be careful when ordering if you don’t want that. It only worked out to £40 though in my case, which was good value. The 2 guys took 45 mins to assemble the bed and they took all the packaging away.. Samantha. West Yorkshire Uk. Wed Sep 09 2026

Delivery was on time; bed appears solid, well made and of good colour. Went together fairly easily, however each side of the bed had no pilot holes where the central middle metal bar was supposed to be attached. The bar was a little short in length (5-8mm), meaning the screws had to be fitted at a slight outward angle to prevent them splitting the wood they were being screwed into.. Tim L. West Mids. Made from solid beech and oak wood, this wood bed features a natural, oiled finish highlighting the wood’s rich grain while ensuring long-lasting strength. The bed is lovely and assembly relatively easy - would have given 5 stars but the slats don't come automatically, you have to order them separately which seems weird. The actual slats are great but the assembly is pretty painful. Instructions are mediocre and we'd put several of the slats together before we realised that they had to be threaded into the fabric runner so we had to start again. Overall assembly took about 2 hours. Finished product is very good though.. Pat. Tue Nov 25 2025

Traditional style French Sleigh Bed with a low footboard which is great for tall people and smaller rooms

It is quite hard to find such a large size bed in the UK, so really fancy it. However, the head board and the end of the bed both stand more space than other "normal" size bed frame, which resulted difficulty sit in a new bedroom.. Jason. London, GB. Tue Mar 19 2019

All beds in this collection range are made from the highest quality wood and lacquered to an impressive finish. This bed frame range is a beautifully styled collection of high-quality furniture that suits both modern and traditional homes. Every product comes with a durable lacquered finish that is easy to clean and will last for years to come. Products will add elegance and beauty to every home.

I am extremely impressed with this, it came it three boxes and I assembled it alone; it's very sturdy, no creaking and quite literally doesn't move, especially under certain stresses. It has everything you need to put it together and feels very solid. The only negative thing I will say though, upon assembly, the holes in the side frame where you tighten the nuts up to the bolt from the headboard isn't quite big enough, so by the end of it, the little spanner was obliterated, so you will need another tool if ever you need to take it apart.. Reece. Oakham, GB. Thu Feb 04 2021

Really solid bed! The wood is darker than advertised but I think it looks much nicer than I was expecting. Straightforward to put together as well. In case anyone needs to know, it does have middle supports under the bed which did come as a surprise to us as it’s not mentioned on the website. Anonymous. Tue Mar 08 2022

The product is entirely made of high-quality solid wood. Properly secured elements will allow for a long-lasting attractive appearance of this product. The bed is very durable and has a chunky appearance, which is its most distinctive feature. Solid bases and solid wood crossbars additionally emphasize their durability. The impressive headboard made of the same material is also noteworthy. In addition, all wooden elements have an interesting natural look. The deliberately highlighted view of the grain and discoloration of the wood becomes an interesting decoration.
