I bought the white one and I'm very pleased with the look. It completes the divan. The reason for only 3 stars is it is assumed you are replacing an existing headboard and if you aren't, like me, you cannot attach it to the bed. Sadly even after paining a DIY man to try and fix the issues, it can’t be built as the slats are are several slightly different sizes to each other and so don’t fit the framing posts - wood is so soft it crumbles when fixing the screws so don’t hold. Anonymous. Wed Nov 15 2023

Absolutely shocking quality of wood. Screw & dowel holes did not align, some of the longer bits of wood were too long. We had to buy wood and attach to the back to re-inforce as the item kept falling to bits during assembly. On line chat useless and no telephone number for customer services. Looks so beautiful in the photo but when it came to assemble I was dissapointed by the quality and how flimsy it was. Some of the short bars in the headboard are cracke and missing stain colour in places.. Instructions very difficult to follow, all the pre drilled holes on the crossbars had been drilled at 3.5cms and did not match the pre drilled 4.00 cm holes on the five upright bars. This meant we had to make new holes using the screws in different positions. It took two people a full day to assemble.We would appreciate replacements for the two cracked bars part number C, but can not send photos as we don’t know how to, technology is difficult at our age.The colour is nice and delivery on time, but you need to be very good at DIYto assemble this item it is not for an amateur!!!.
