The instructions don't say this, but you can set this up to have drawers on the left, or right, depending on which works best for you. That's a nice feature. On the down side, a few of the pieces didn't quite fit together. The slots for the fiberboard back and one of the drawers weren't deep enough so I have to clean them out with a hand saw. If you have a hand saw, this is not a big deal. However, if you don't have tools, I'm not sure what you would do. Maybe use a steak knife or just return it? It's a nice desk, striking design.
