Nice looking item and quality is good for flat pack and price, it’s stable and not wobbly. Drawers glide well on metal runners and open out a decent way for access. The bases on the drawers are a bit flimsy so will have to see how they last. One of the back panels was split on unboxing but because it couldn’t be seen we didn’t bother. Unfortunately this piece of self assembly furniture is not fit for self assembly. As an experienced self assembly furniture 'maker' who follows instructions to the letter. I was completely defeated when requested in section 9 to turn over the piece over by 180 degrees and it completely fell to pieces! Where the pegs had been ripped out of the wood the thread had been destroyed and could not be re-fixed. The wooden dowels are neither long enough and are far too small in diameter to offer any kind of support and stability. All in all, I was left with a pile of pieces that were never going to go together. I then spent ages packing it all back into the boxes for return without taking any photos.. Elizabeth. This may look good in the pictures, but believe me, it is dreadful. It is massively overcomplicated to assemble, and even then it does not feel sturdy. The materials feel very flimsy and how the piece is designed with the various slotting in of screws etc makes it feel like it will fall apart very easily as nothing is secure to keep it firmly in place.
