When I started constructing this piece of furniture I noted that there were a couple of chips in the veneer. I was unhappy with this but decided I didn't think they were unsightly enough to warrant returning the whole piece of furniture. I complained through Wayfair and Birlea who produce the item responded very quickly and professionally. I discussed with them what I felt a reasonable fair resolution would would be and they agreed immediately without argument. I feel the level of customer service was very good (particularly compared to recent experiences I've had with other furniture retailers such as Sofology), and I would happily buy other products from them in future. This is exactly the size and style I wanted but I wish I had known it is delivered with a supplier’s letter saying it is made from reclaimed timber and that the dents, that are quite evident on this one as they on the front edge, are to be considered as natural flaws..
