Amazing, it fits my size as a woman! I’ve had a lot of problems finding a chair that isn’t huge for me. Usually chair seats hit the back of my lower leg causing my legs to go numb. This product is poorly made. First one they sent was faulty- no screw holes in the seat so I couldn't assemble. Waited ages for a replacement seat to be sent - and that one was faulty too as the holes did not line up with the holes in the frame, meaning assembly was again impossible. Not just me - several competent family members tried and also failed. I initially ordered a different chair from Wayfair that arrived broken and I was hesitant at the idea of getting an exact replacement for that chair (which I feared may too arrive broken). After a quick phone chat with a very helpful Wayfair Customer Support Representative, they offered me a 10% discount for the inconvenience, which I used to purchase this, more expensive chair. I had hoped that spending the extra might lead to better quality, at least over the previous cheaper one – fortunately I was right! I’m not sure if it’s just the lighting in the product images, but the back of the chair is not metallic/chrome as I had imagined from the pictures. It is very much Matt Black, still metal, but no shine. I’d say the images are slightly misleading, but I honestly like the Matt Black look which suits my dark desk setup. This chair is sturdy and well built. It weighs a lot… which is something to note if you have thick carpets, it’s not the easiest to roll around. Aside from that, it is comfortable, offers ample lumbar support and lots of adjustability to suit different body heights. I’m a tall guy (6ft 4”) and this seats me well, it goes plenty high and the back is supportive and comfortable for the length of my torso. Due to my height, I did not opt for the version of this that included the headrest, since in my experience the headrests tend to be way down my neck and are uncomfortable. In hindsight I should have gotten the headrest version, since the back is high enough that I imagine the headrest would genuinely level with my head and be a nice additional feature. I’m not sure if Wayfair are able to sell the headrest separately or if I could find it from a third-party supplier, but I might have a go at looking, since I think it would be worth getting. I’m giving this a rating of 4 stars, though that is more a reflection of the overall experience I had purchasing a new desk chair from Wayfair in general rather than on this product directly. I seen several others using this chair for dining. So that's exactly what we did. Bought 2 of the red. Took about a week delivery from Mississippi to Seattle. Box's were a little tired but chairs were fine. The quality and engineering excellent. Very comfortable sitting. I put them together myself & have a hint for you. Test each screw before assembly. Don't tighten connections until all screws started. That's so you'll be able to wiggle parts to line up holes. I Compare them to a regular Captain's dining chair. Very good value. Its your favorite Uncle Joey back again with a photo of the orange chair. As mentioned before Its a pain to assemble. Luckily I live alone and no one heard me cussing at it for almost 4hrs.
