This is surprisingly good for the price. Sturdy desk, good design, high quality surface finish even though it's fake wood, easy assembly. I was worried about hitting my shins on the shelf below the desk surface, but the desk has enough depth for that not to be much of a problem. The only somewhat unfortunate feature that I found is that the shelf happens to be at a height where it covers up wall sockets that at the typical UK height. I mean apologies for an already cluttered desk, it was for my teenage son. This desk is very sturdy and easy to put together (an older brother 17 did it). He needed a desk for more room, gaming and study and this desk provides it all. The only downside is that the base unit from his PC was too long to fit on the shelf (bottom right).
