There were a few dent spots but for the price it is pretty sturdy. There was a mistake in the instruction but we were able to make it right . There are some splinters coming off the corners of the slats so we might want to use sand paper to let it smooth out to avoid kids getting splinter if whoever sleeping on the bottom side happen to run her hand or arm through it.. I ordered two of these, and they arrived just two days later. Assembly was fairly easy...definitely a lot easier on the second one...about an hour and twenty minutes in total. Took a risk on this bed as there was only one review, but I have ordered a second one now as I am so pleased! The sofa is very comfortable as a sofa and a bed and the colour is brilliant ! (I went for lime green) the only reason I have given four stars is because the bottom of the bed was damaged a little in transit. The bed needs to be packaged better.
