The Haefner secretary desk with hutch is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the Haefner.

Really like this desk. It does indeed take 2 people and a few hours to assemble, but it is cleverly designed to fit in a small space. If possible it'd be rated 4.5 because additional materials to bracket it to the wall are not included. The slide-out keyboard shelf measures are 79cm wide and 43cm deep ensuring ample room for both keyboard and mouse and the smooth action metal runners feature a locking position avoiding unwanted movement. A further two fully adjustable slide-out shelves (measuring 54cm W x 43cm D) feature eight height settings to accommodate various printer and scanner combinations. The sturdy hutch features one fixed shelf for strength and two adjustable shelves with nine height settings. These two pieces can easily be connected. Made from furniture quality MFC which is resistant to hot cups and scratches. The top is 2.5cm thick with a 4cm overhang to rear for clearance of plugs etc. All other panels are 1.8cm thick, including the important back panel which ensures added strength and rigidity. Available in several attractive finishes with each piece being hand-finished to a high standard. Your furniture will arrive as two fully assembled pieces. Please be aware that this product is of superior quality and therefore heavy. You may require assistance for room placement.

This office desk is beautiful. My daughter and I put it together and it was pretty simple. Perfect size for my 12x10 room.
