This stool is the right size and height for what I wanted for my bathroom. Unfortunately one of my cats likes spending the day on it. The only thing is the fittings keep coming loose, and in fact nothing seems to fit very well, so I'm always a bit wary of sitting on it. This dressing table is very nice and looks exactly the same as the pictures online. The drawers are both "Dovetailed" which is a really nice finish. I did not appreciate that with the design of the struts that hold the mirror in place, the dressing table doesn't actually sit flush to the wall. There is a gap which makes the table sit further away from the wall. Items could fall down the back and it could be an issue if you're limited regarding the space you're planning on putting it in. There were one or two patches where wood filler had been used in the finish, which detracted from the quality of the product, however they were small enough and, luckily not in areas that were too obvious otherwise I may have returned the table..
