The only issue is that the Velcro fasteners for the roof to tie onto the roof bars is too short and the Velcro has been put on the wrong way so they wouldn’t fasten anyway. We bought the pergola to provide shade over our hot tub. It has the added bonus that if we lower the front panel it gives us complete privacy from neighbouring properties. It wasn’t the easiest thing for two people to build because of its size. There were two different sets of instructions neither of which were particularly clear.
