This weathering steel hexagon garden raised bed is a great choice for DIY enthusiasts to decorate their gardens, balconies, or patios. Durable material: Corten steel, also known as weathering steel. This is anti-corrosive by its very nature. It develops a rusty protective layer against corrosion when first exposed to atmospheric conditions. Thus, you don't need to paint it. This can help you save on maintenance and repair costs. The distinctive brown colour on the corten steel will surely be an eye-catcher. Finally, weathering steel is exceptionally durable and will stand up to the test of time. Ample space: The planter is deep and wide enough to hold a large amount of soil and provide ample space for your plants, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Sturdy frame: The steel frame and interior support brackets of the raised bed ensure sturdiness and stability. Open bottom: The bottomless design provides good drainage for plants and prevents water buildup that causes the roots of plants to rot. It also allows plants to better absorb nutrients. You can place it on soil, grass, or concrete floors. Safe edge fold: The rim of the garden pot has an edge fold design, so no dangerous sharp edges are exposed. Good to know: This product is not rusted yet and has a normal metal colour when you receive it, but rust will develop over time. You could speed up the rusting process by spraying it with soap water and salt water. To keep your clothes stain-free, avoid contact with the developing rust layer. To make assembly as easy as possible, each product is delivered with a manual.

Overall for the money it’s ok , very fiddly to put together and not sure how long it will survive , but it was on sale so happy , will go rusty over time so will get the look in after in due course .. Suzanne. Wed Mar 25 2026

Perfect for growing herbs on a window ledge or dotted around the garden, these items are inspired by the traditional farmers' pig trough, a nod to the countryside of yore to bring a truly rustic element to the home or garden. Produced from premium material, the thick walls keep your plants cool in the summer and warm in the winter, the planter can easily be drilled for drainage for use outdoors. Antiqued iron handles and feet, along with classic Foras brass plated branding, make these planters one of a kind.

These are delightful small planters I love them. Only hiccough, if any, is that there are no drainage holes and being galvenised they will need drilling. Barbara. Kelstedge Ashover Chesterfield, GB. Wed Sep 04 2024

Pots are made from Scandinavian Redwood and it is treated in an oil based preservative. All pots come assembled except raised beds where you need to fix legs. Your pots are supplied with one coat of the 'Taylor Brown' oil based preservative. To help protect and extend the life of your planter we strongly recommend for you to apply another coat every 6-12 months. Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking, splitting, warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence, because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws. Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.
