We bought this for our daughter’s 3rd birthday. We hired out to have it put together so I can’t speak to this process, but our experience with Backyard Discovery has been phenomenal! Fast shipping. Building does take time. I’m a contractor and it took me 7 hour to complete alone. The directions were straight forward. It would be a challenge for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined. Furthermore, having your own tools cuts down the installation time, but having the required tools is pretty deep if you’re just a homeowner. I recommend this set. Once completed it looks great. This is the best purchase I made. Was going to have it built but decided to do it ourselves. Easy directions took bout 10 hours with 3 people. The tub slide and kitchen were the favorite. Now I need to fond more play food and a play fridge for the great grand kids. That is their request. Just spent the last 2 days sealing the play ground. Four stars because some of the manufacturers pre-drilled holes didn’t line up how they were supposed to. Twice we had to drill our own holes, which is fine, just a hassle. There were also some steps in the instructions that felt like they should have been earlier than they were. Meaning the pieces didn’t fit exactly how they should because the other parts were already put together. Once again, fine, just a pain.
