This pergola was an experience to assemble. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. Also the unit is 10x10, BUT ONLY AT THE TOP. The base measurement from the center of each support to the next is only 97.83", not 10x12' or 120". In my case it worked out, but if you have to fit it over an area consider getting a 12x12, which would have worked fine for me. I also checked the interior dimensions in the description on Wayfair, and they were only of the top not the bottom. I believe that information should be changed. The unit itself, once assembled is beautiful, but you do need two people for assembly, especially if you can't drill into the concrete. The legs must be stable to attach the top units to them!! We did that job by laying them on the lawn, then putting them in concrete blocks, as you can see by the photo. Trying to do it while up is folly, unless you have four people holding up the cross bars while you screw in the bolts!! On YT it shows a guy assembling on the ground, smart! All in all this unit is good for the price, but measure and level, that's the trick. Good Luck and stay safe.. Cia. California. Sun Jun 25 2023

We have been using this for 2 years now. So this is a long term review. Assembly wasn't too difficult and my wife and I were able to do it without more help. Overall the quality is good and the paint has oxidized somewhat and there are some small rust spots but overall great. The shade is also good quality and very heavy duty. We're in Florida so I have to clean and pressure wash it every 6 months or so but it comes up pretty nice. We really like the ability to move the shade and the fixed louvers add separation from the rest of the backyard. Recommended.. T.j.. Tallahassee, FL. Sun Dec 15 2024

We got the 10x23 pergola and absolutely love it!! It came in 8 boxes, showed up on the day they said it would and the time frame quoted. We hired a guy to help us assemble it. It took my husband and him about 5 hours to put it all together. The instructions were pretty easy, some of the pictures were a little confusing but manageable to figure out. It feels really sturdy and looks beautiful on our deck. I can’t wait for spring or a nice warm day to use it!!. Lisa. Highlands Ranch, CO. Sun Dec 17 2023

When the roof is fully closed, it provides complete protection from the sun and rain due to the fully opaque, insulated slats. The joint design provides a perfect seal. The water will drain through the innovative, built-in drainage system and will exit through the pergola columns. Its adjustable slats allow you to enjoy natural ventilation, while still limiting UV exposure. They also allow you to adjust the light flow from the sunlight. When partially open, you will enjoy a light breeze and direct sunlight. When the slats are fully open, you can enjoy the sunlight and ideal ventilation. Additional information This pergola should be assembled and installed on level ground. We recommend leaving the slats open in the event of snowfall.

Beautiful ! Exactly what we were looking for. Only problem is that when rains, water drips from the gaps in the unions of the beams. I put some silicon to seal , hope it works. For sunny days is good. Not for raining days. Anonymous. US. Sat Jul 08 2023
