Modern Year-Round Use Pergolas

Great quality, fairly easy to build solo. The retractable roof isn’t the hardest wearing, the poles broke through the ends quite quickly, and the plastic hoops to hang the roof from aren’t very good but overall happy.. Dan. Hailsham, GB. Tue Sep 29 2026

It's perfect for adapting your space throughout the day, from bright afternoons to cooler evenings. Equipped with solar-powered LED lighting in warm and white tones, the PURE Pergola lets you enjoy your outdoor area well into the night. Everything is operated through a simple button interface, ensuring ease without compromise. Strong, versatile and beautifully designed, the PURE Pergola elevates any outdoor living space. Key Features Durable aluminium frame with galvanised steel louvres Manual split-roof operation for independent left/right control Solar-powered LED lights, warm & white options Button control for simple operation Reinforced structural posts and beams for stability Rust-resistant, low-maintenance & UKFR compliant Are Pergolas Waterproof? Our Royalcraft Luxe Pergolas are rain-resistant rather than fully waterproof. Each pergola features a powder coated galvanised roof that can be tilted or fully closed to provide protection from light to moderate rain. When the louvres are shut, rainwater is cleverly channelled through an integrated drainage system built into the frame, allowing it to flow down through the legs and away from your seating area. During heavier or prolonged rainfall, a small amount of water may enter through the joins, this is normal for galvanised roof systems, which are designed for ventilation and year-round durability, not complete watertightness. Transform your outdoor space into a beautiful oasis with this Purple Leaf pergola. It can be used for entertaining al fresco dining or to keep flowers and vegetables from burning on hot summer days. The smooth aluminium frame is rust- and corrosion-resistant and is powder-coated for maximum outdoor durability. The white painted exterior makes the pergola more elegant and sophisticated, and the convertible canopy slides easily for optimal shade from the harsh sun. It's made from yarn-dyed fabric for better water repellency, fading and UV resistance for year-round use. Customize the look by adding strings of lights or vines to create stunning visuals. Push away the canopy and enjoy a day of sunbathing with family and friends.

This pergola was an experience to assemble. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. Also the unit is 10x10, BUT ONLY AT THE TOP. The base measurement from the center of each support to the next is only 97.83", not 10x12' or 120". In my case it worked out, but if you have to fit it over an area consider getting a 12x12, which would have worked fine for me. I also checked the interior dimensions in the description on Wayfair, and they were only of the top not the bottom. I believe that information should be changed. The unit itself, once assembled is beautiful, but you do need two people for assembly, especially if you can't drill into the concrete. The legs must be stable to attach the top units to them!! We did that job by laying them on the lawn, then putting them in concrete blocks, as you can see by the photo. Trying to do it while up is folly, unless you have four people holding up the cross bars while you screw in the bolts!! On YT it shows a guy assembling on the ground, smart! All in all this unit is good for the price, but measure and level, that's the trick. Good Luck and stay safe.. Cia. California. Sun Jun 25 2023

Premium aluminium pergola with adjustable roof – designed in Britain for year-round garden living . Looking for a stylish, and maintenance-free aluminium pergola that performs in all weather where attention to detail is paramount? The Saturn Aluminium Pergola by Celtic Leisure delivers architectural quality, exceptional strength, and timeless design — crafted specifically for British gardens and outdoor spaces. Made from top grade thick-gauge, powder-coated aluminium, this premium pergola features adjustable double-skin roof louvers that let you control shade and airflow with ease. Unlike most pergolas, the Saturn includes no plastic ends or steel beams — every visible and structural part is aluminium, including the footplates, for full rust resistance and clean lines. This aluminium pergola is the perfect opportunity to extend your outdoor season. Thanks to the tilting double-layer aluminium louvres, you can switch between a closed, sheltered space and an open top which allows sunlight to come flooding in. This means that you can use your outdoor area even when the weather is less than perfect. This aluminium pergola ultimately allows you to choose between sitting in sunshine or shade and provides a fully waterproof roof should it start to rain at a moment's notice - With the added over 90 degree turn function, you are able to follow the rays of the sun. Engineered with 115mm wide legs, slot-together structural beams, and a seamless hidden drainage system, the Saturn aluminium pergola is built to withstand the UK’s varied weather — from summer sun to autumn rain — while looking flawless for years to come. The Pergola from Forest Garden is a stylish, contemporary design that will create a stunning feature in your garden. It's the perfect spot to eat and entertain. The laddered side and roof panels add an extra dimension to the structure and are fantastic for training climbing plants and creating your own shade. The pergola is manufactured using European softwood, which is slow growing, resulting in stronger and more robust timber. To improve the longevity of the timber it has been Pressure Treated to give it a 15-year manufacturer's guarantee against rot and fungal damage. Delivered flat packed for self-assembly, fixings, and instructions all included.

Looks great but putting it up was really tricky. No holes are pre-drilled, the instructions are basic and small text and do not explain forward with hints and tips.. Joanne. Basingstoke, GB. Wed Jul 31 2019

This pergola range represents a stylish, contemporary alternative to our more traditional pergola designs. Their clean, uncluttered lines compliment a more structured garden where simplicity of design is key.

The Garden Pergola is the perfect addition to your garden to add something a little different as a dining or seating area. It's a simplistic design which works for any style, size or shape of garden, and the pergola's open framework allows you to tailor it to you taste with personal touches suchs as climbing plants, lighting and furniture. A low maintenance structure, the pergola is an ideal complement to your log cabin, summerhouse or garden room - many customers like to combine a pergola with another garden building, often with the pergola leading in to the other space.

Very disappointed with the product even though it's very sturdy the canopy isn't fit for purpose after various months i only erected it in November the canopy poles keep falling out off the canopy top I have checked it was put together properly ,leaving me with no top the weather has not been that bad and I feel that it's actually dangerous.
