The actual fire is wonderful with very realistic flames. However although we measured the fireplace inset hole many times, when the fir arrived it would not fit in the inset. The measurements given for the back of the fire (the part to set into the surround) did not take account for the extra centimetre or so from bottom of inset to base of fire. The fire is great! However I have more appreciation and respect for the Wayfair Customer Care service. The package came with a lot of damage to the box and I thought it prudent to report this before taking the fire out the packaging. I brought this and its lovely although not in place properly yet an due to old fireplace. it was old fashioned and council so my wall needs some alterations .only had fire in use less than week well apart from heating as I.m having trouble working out the setting 4 it it keeps switching off. an I have mark on fire already.the white coating isn't as it looks.its like a rough pebble feel.other than that very nice and pleased.of wasn't so delicate and awkward to work out it would be 5 star. Just been delivered. Could not wait to use it . Although got to have a socket put in at the back . I couldn't wait. Brilliant flame effect . And heat settings . Love it.
