The fire surround is great quality with the added bonus of a remote, colour mood lighting function, the option to change the colour of the fire bed. There is a choice of 3 flame colours. A choice of pebbles, logs or crystals, depending on your preference. I use the small pebbles and real kindling with the addition of small logs in the recess to create a more realistic look. It was relatively easy to assemble. It depends on where you want it placed on the wall we managed to hide the socket in the recess so there is no cable showing which made the process a little longer to put on the wall. The cable is however white which could run along a skirting board to hide and was quite a long cable. It was quick delivery also.. Janice. Moreton In Marsh. Mon Sep 28 2026

The product comes with a digital LCD display remote control which includes a seven-day programmer, a thermostat with the display, a room-temperature sensor, open window detection, and adaptive start control (turns on the heater to warm the room ready for the programmed start time). The heater automatically switches between 1 and 2kw depending on the room temperature and set the temperature required and can be used with or without the led lighting. To meet the requirements of eco-design 2018 (lot 20), this product is designed and manufactured to produce the optimum energy efficiency available for space heaters.

Realistic Flame Effect: Enjoy the cosy ambience of a traditional fireplace with the Farlington's mesmerising LED flame effect, which can be used with or without the heating function.

This fire is lovely very mesmerising and is an asset to any front room. But alas the surrounding mantle is not high quality it is unfortunately rough/ unfinished on top not smooth - I don’t even think it has a protective layer on top to prevent scuffing so you may need buy a glass top protector. Delivery was a nightmare late and delivered upside down .. Madeline. Dartford, GB. Fri Sep 04 2026

The fire was offer so the price was great. The look is a little bit more plasticky and bright than I would have liked but overall I'm very pleased. The flame effect is impressive and the remote control is a bonus.. Steven. Darwen, GB. Thu Aug 27 2026
