I have installed it in my yard yet, but I like the heft of the pole and support and the ability to place the stake far enough into the ground to allow mowing over it. I don’t know how well the plastic/red cover will last. I will probably use something like an upside-down tuna can to cover it during the winter. I also appreciate the ability to change the height of the clothesline making it accessible for a variety of people and conditions. I will take the pole off and store it in the garage when not in use. This Automatic Washing Line Wall-Mounted Drying Rack is little in size but big on drying, making this ideal for small flats, caravans and tight spaces. The washing line is easy to install and comes with all necessary screws, wall plugs and hooks. Once set up, the washing line is very simple to operate, release the grey side knob and pull the grey bar till your desired length, place bar in hooks and tighten strings with the knob. When finished using the washing line, simply remove the bar from the hooks, release knob again and line automatically retracts back into its dust and damp proof housing to ensure the lines keep clean and dry. There are four strong string lines that each extends 3.65m giving you a total drying length of 14.65m!.
