Finished unit is good. Assembling it was not as easy as expected. The dowels are too small and constantly fall out while trying to use them in assembly. Most of screws are too thick for the holes provided / both these issues made assembly challenging. For the price I’m very happy. Good finish and looks good in-situ and also smells very nice! 2 person assembly better but easy enough to assemble on your own although beware it is heavy in the box. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is due to the drawers as they are main from very soft wood and don’t feel that solid and because some of the pre-drilled holes didn’t align with pieces exactly. This stunning 4 drawer chest has a Mexican style featuring black metal fittings with decorative studs and a waxed finish. The wax lifts the grain of the wood creating a distressed rustic look. 3 standard drawers and one deeper bottom drawer combine to provide you with generous storage options. The four drawers all feature decorative molded fronts, with real dovetail joints for extra stability, and glide on wooden runners with drawer stops to prevent them from being over-extended. The cabinet frame and drawers are solid pine with strong plywood used for hidden surfaces such as the cabinet back and the drawer bases.

Gorgeous chest of drawers. Was quite difficult to put together- no pre-drilled holes so you have to make sure you’re putting the screws in the correct place. Very good value for the price. All fittings, drill holes etc precisely done. Only found one part where a screw hole hadn't been done properly but it was easy fix. Not a flat pack for the rookies, but if you have some experience and patience it goes together perfectly.
