Finished unit is good. Assembling it was not as easy as expected. The dowels are too small and constantly fall out while trying to use them in assembly. Most of screws are too thick for the holes provided / both these issues made assembly challenging. Unit is built with some modifying work done by us to overcome the problems - it does look ok thought and is a good solid set of drawers. Will not buy anything that needs home assembly.. Elizabeth. This stunning 4 drawer chest has a Mexican style featuring black metal fittings with decorative studs and a waxed finish. The wax lifts the grain of the wood creating a distressed rustic look. 3 standard drawers and one deeper bottom drawer combine to provide you with generous storage options. The four drawers all feature decorative molded fronts, with real dovetail joints for extra stability, and glide on wooden runners with drawer stops to prevent them from being over-extended. The cabinet frame and drawers are solid pine with strong plywood used for hidden surfaces such as the cabinet back and the drawer bases.

Gorgeous chest of drawers. Was quite difficult to put together- no pre-drilled holes so you have to make sure you’re putting the screws in the correct place. The drawers themselves were also smaller than expected. However this really is a beautiful piece, very sturdy and a good fit for my room- tall and slim. Ciara. Sutton, GB. Sun Aug 15 2021

I found this easy to put together, on my own it took 1 hour 30 mins. The drawers are deep and it is solid... Only bad thing is it is far darker than pictured which is misleading. I can live with it but if you wanted lighter you'd be disappointed, I have show this in a photo attached. I left the skirting off for now but it does come with skirting.. Elsa. Wed Mar 06 2024

The timeless shaker design of this chest of drawers is the perfect accompaniment to any interior style and is perfect for grown-up bedrooms and children's bedrooms alike. Solid pine frames and MDF ensure sturdy and durable construction. It offers a great storage solution for smaller rooms given its compact footprint.

Lovely, sturdy set of drawers and pretty easy to build compared to other flat packs I’ve had. The colour is more cream than I was expecting from the description but it still went well in the bedroom, so just be aware if you are looking for off white as this range wouldn’t be suitable. Slightly annoyed with the delivery, despite being given a delivery slot and ensuring someone was home, they messaged 2 hours after to say that it was rescheduled for after the bank holiday (this was a Friday). Wayfair customer services were not very helpful!. Nicola. Sun Jun 02 2024

Just what I expected - A lovely bit of wood, enjoyed the assembly (for the most part) However wish the instructions were a lot simpler to read as I spent ages trying to decipher which set of instructions applied to each part of the drawers. Although we got there in the end, there was quite a lot of assembly to do. Definitely much easier to do with two or more people.. Khari. Brighton, GB. Sun Apr 17 2022

Was expecting to have to get the candle wax on the runners - stiff or sticking runners have been my experience with flat-pack in the past - but not needed this time. Easy to follow instructions, solid construction. On that note, not light, so maybe a two person job for some.. F. Pendeen, GB. Wed Oct 19 2016

A fine-looking chest of drawers and every bit is wood. Capacity of drawers is excellent, deep and wide. Two issues, however. The dowel rods are flimsy. Three of them broke during assembly. Why not add a pound or two to the price and supply metal dowel rods? And the instructions are less than clear - they don't explain where the painted bits or the plain wooden bits should go! Some of us failed elementary woodwork at school. But would I buy another one? Affirmative!!. Roger. West Linton, GB. Fri Oct 14 2022
