Kiln-dried solid pine slats make for a very sturdy bed. 4FT, 4FT6, and 5FT have a center support running from head to foot and also center feet. The look can be completed by adding the Under-bed drawers that will fit under any size of the bed frame to add extra storage or the Trundle bed that will fit under the 3FT only and will add an essential extra bed.

Do not buy. It is a terrible quality bed. I ended up taking the parts to the recycling centre after partially making it. It came with so many smaller pieces that did not align properly. The white laminate chips. The joins don’t line up. You are also expected to line up the internal wooden baton edging to hold the mattress on the outside frame yourself. I wasted £140 on this. Lovely bed frame.... once its assembled. Tricky to put together, very difficult to fit some of the parts together. The bed frame is excellent. Sturdy, fits together well and contains the mattress with no gaps. Make sure you have an electric screwdriver! As you have to put the slats in manually with screws, as well as the slat rests I marked down as the headboard is a different story - does not fit together well, leaving gaps on show and some of the wood was damaged.
