Lovely solid little table, good quality and has survived a while with my cats, dog and grandchildren all using it and bashing in to it I am pleased to say no scratches or dents to report. This retro-style wooden coffee table will make a timeless addition to your living room decor! The table is made of solid acacia wood with a honey touch finish and is highly durable and stable. Acacia wood is a tough hardwood with beautiful grains that will last for many years. Similar to acacia wood, known as rosewood or palisander, it is also famous for its rich grains. The top has a single door that can be flipped up for easy storage and retrieval of the items. The wooden structure gives the coffee table a vintage look. Every step of the construction process is carried out with the greatest care, be it polishing, painting or lacquering. Assembly is easy. There's quite a bit of assembly with this product but that's ok - all you need is a screwdriver and some patience. The real wood table with additional storage space underneath the tabletop performs just as well in front of the sofa in the living room as it does as a side table in the guest room or as a bedside table in the bedroom. It fits into any corner and makes a good shapely gap filler. When brushing the acacia wood, the softer layers are worked out, which results in more furrows remaining and the structure becoming more prominent. This creates an "artificial aging" that makes the acacia sofa table look even more rustic. This product is low-maintenance and highly stable.
