I like the the design and the principle of operation. We just assembled and put it into use a week ago, so have not seen results yet. The composter arrived quickly but was quite difficult to assemble. The two bins seem to slide back and forth on their support shaft a bit too freely, so my husband inserted a spacer to stabilze them and make it easier to lock them into position. We were impressed by the design of these modular compost bins; they incorporate a host of features for keen composters! Can be assembled in minutes - no nails, screws or holes to dig. Slide-out panels on all sides for easy access. 573 litres (20 cu.ft.) capacity per module. Wood provides good insulation, while allowing the compost to ‘breathe’.

This product is really poor - I am about to give up on it. I have spent several hours trying to assemble it, but the instructions are unclear (hard to differentiate between the posts, nothing is labelled) and the wooden pegs are too small and go right into the hole so you then can't get them out, the metal bits (that the screws fit in) are too big and don't fit in the holes. The wood has split in a couple of places, and after frustratingly trying to assemble it I have only managed to do one side. It would be nice to have better instructions it is not workable the steps are all over the place and kept falling apart I ended up having to put all the iron work on first to hold it together before putting top and bottom on this part is not good the metal work is just the same I will have to devise a similar method to do so not happy once made it looks good it mite last a couple years before metal work rust away.. Despite assurances that I would be able to track the delivery it arrived unexpectantly while the house was unoccupied and was left with a neighbour. The composter was just a collection of wooden battens cut to length, various screws, hinges and assembly instructions. I am fairly competent at assembling such things but it was a fiddly job with no pre-drilled holes so I feel that the web site description should emphasise that assembly of the composter does require a certain level of competency. Easy to assemble, this black plastic slatted composter is an efficient way to create beautiful, rich compost. Measuring 120cm tall by 65cm deep & wide, the bin will hold up to 500 litres of material, with the slatted gaps allowing constant aeration of the compost. This in turn makes for quicker breakdown of organic material and a quicker supply of black gold. The lid flips open for ease of filling and access for turning. The compost bin comes complete with four green sliding panels, one for each side allowing easy access to the finished material; it is not necessary to use all four Coming flat packed, this composter does require home assembly - however the pieces simply slot together and the only tool required is to cut out the hole for the access flaps; these are clearly marked though and the the tabs can be easily cut with scissors.

The 8mm mesh in this rotary soil sieve will help to make the finest soil imaginable, ideal for potting up seedlings at the start of the season, or for removing sticks and stones from compost. For best results, it is recommended that the sieve is stood up in a wheelbarrow, so the sieved matter is collected in the pan. Simply pour the soil or compost into the hopper and turn the spring-loaded handle; the sorted soil falls out of the base. With a drum that measures 15cm deep by 40cm wide, the unit stands 20cm off the ground and requires simple home assembly
