The evolutionary Darwin shed is the perfect design if you want the look and feel of wood with all of the benefits and ease of plastic. A Keter shed provides ample airflow by having specifically placed vents but, as with any shed, condensation can form. If you do see signs of condensation here are hints to help you to protect the contents of your shed. To prevent condensation inside your shed, wherever possible, do not allow any excess moisture inside the shed. To do this try and ensure all equipment inside the shed such as camping gear or sporting goods are cleaned and dried before storing them in the shed. Try to let as much air inside the shed on cooler, dry days, by opening the shed doors. This will help the air circulation inside the shed and will drop the humidity level inside. Please note the durable material that all Keter sheds are made of will not be affected by moisture or condensation as part of the Keter no maintenance promise.

Great little shed. As long as you follow the instructions, it's pretty straightforward to put together. Take note of the 4x corner panels and the dimensions - the 2 sides are different widths so if you don't get them the correct way round, it won't fit together properly. Found the roof panels a bit tricky to get under the small lip, other than that I'm really pleased with the shed.. Jane. Uk. Sat Jul 18 2026

This does not take 3 hours as suggested by the instructions but two full days. It’s not for the faint hearted DIY’er as we had to drill new holes and the instructions were a tad confusing in parts. This said when it eventually was built after a few scratched heads and a couple of expletives it became a shed and looked very nice in our garden. It’s is more spacious than the pics and will hold a lot of things. Pleased in the end. Suggest that the manufactures try and build this themselves as I’ve noted quite a few other reviews mention the holes not being in line and they need to address this as without an experienced DIY person helping us, it would still be in bits.. First of all, I read previous reviews before ordering and the main complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand or inaccurate. After receiving the shed, I found the instructions very intuitive. They are on A5 so quite small but as long as you test fit the pieces before fixing parts together, you will see pretty quickly if the orientation is incorrect. If you are unsure, read ahead a couple of pages and everything should make sense. Assembled on my own in a few hours, and really happy with the quality of the shed. I’m going to make some modifications to make it more secure, but I couldn’t buy the materials to make a custom shed for this price so I’m delighted!. Anonymous. Wed Jan 10 2024

Have the look of a wooden shed without maintenance. Constructed from Evotech Composite, an advanced resin technology that ensures durability. It is fully weather-resistant, so you'll never have to worry about panels warping, overlapping, or cracking. Designed with convenience in mind, you can build your Darwin shed in just a few hours. No unique skills are required, all you'll need is a hand drill and a step ladder. With a floor panel to protect against mud and rainwater and built-in ventilation to allow ample airflow, the Darwin shed keeps belongings protected all year round.

Delivery: Ordered Sunday evening and arrived Monday lunchtime: extremely quick. Construction: Form other reviews I thought it would be a nightmare, but it was straightforward & simple. Lay out all materials and read all instructions carefully (including having a solid/level foundation to build from). There are a few tricky bits- namely the last roof panel corner which is hard to snap in place (I had to pry it in using a flat-head screwdriver with a bit of local damage to the plastic which settled back). Vast majority was a 1-person job, I only had to ask my wife a couple of times for a few moments. Recommend using a drill for most of the self-tapping screws into the plastic panelling as there are a lot. Overall it took me around 6/7hrs so allow a full day shift. Product: Overall I’m very happy with the quality of the shed. It is sturdier than I anticipated (of course not as much as a wooden shed but certainly strong enough for the sheltered area I’ve placed it). For the price I paid I am delighted with the purchase.. The shed arrived in two securely packaged boxes that were easy for two people to carry to the assembly site. I unpacked everything in order and confirmed that all parts were present and in perfect condition. The directions were clear and concise, and the components fit together exactly as shown. For those planning to build this, I have three recommendations to make the process easier The Overlap Rule 1.The instructions should emphasize leaving the last screw unsecured where panels overlap until the next panel is in place. 2.Elevate Your Work We used backyard tables for subassembly to avoid working on the ground, which saved our backs. 3.Plan Your Exit When installing the roof, work from the inside toward an outer edge. We kept a stepladder inside the shed to reach the top screws for the center pieces. Just make sure your final panel is one of the outside edges so you can finish the last screws from a ladder on the exterior. For the lower screws, I highly recommend using construction knee pads (I picked mine up at the local hardware store), which made the ground-level work much more comfortable. My assembly partner and I finished the entire build in about 5 ½ hours. While a novice might want a bit more detail in certain steps, we found it to be a very straightforward project. I’m very pleased with the quality and would definitely recommend this to friends and family.. Brenda. Shirleysburg, PA. Sun Apr 05 2026

Very good shed. Very poor delivery service! Be warned - You have to be home for 2 consecutive days to allow for delivery on one of those days! Like most people, I work shifts and do not get days off together. Then said they would phone an hour ahead to allow me time to nip home to sign and put in the garage - but no, obviously too much trouble and left it on display, on my drive for anyone to take, even though they apparently won’t leave without a signature!! Not impressed!. Gemma. Tarleton Preston, GB. Tue Oct 03 2017

Not recommended! Having put up the shed the door was too large for the opening! We had to get in power tools to plane the door and the entranvpce to get the door to fit. Cheap and shoddy construction and workmanship. Nails hammered in incorrectly and thin and flimsy panels. What a shame as it was the size, look and configuration that was perfect for where we were going to site it. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts!. Elizabeth. Cambs, GB. Fri Nov 30 2018
