We bought this outdoor storage cabinet expecting a quick and straightforward build, as the listing suggests around 30 minutes assembly for two people. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from our experience. We’ve spent over 9 hours across 3 days trying to put it together and still haven’t been able to complete it. The main issue is the instructions—they are unclear, lack detail, and don’t properly explain the order of assembly. Several panels look almost identical but aren’t, which leads to mistakes that only become obvious later on. At multiple stages, parts didn’t seem to line up correctly, and it’s difficult to tell whether this is due to design or poor guidance. For something marketed as quick and easy, this was incredibly frustrating. The unit itself seems like it could be decent once built, but the assembly process seriously lets it down. Unless you’re very experienced with flat-pack builds or prepared to spend significantly more time than advertised, I wouldn’t recommend this product. Solid piece of furniture and all the parts fit well. One snag was that I felt that the hinge lid opened uncontrollably to the vertical position and then it was quite difficult to close it. This is a really nice storage cabinet. The size is perfect and the colors look great, which was a big plus for us. Putting it together definitely takes two people, and some of the instructions were a little confusing. It did come with extra screws, which was nice and helped just in case. It felt a bit flimsy on its own so you want to use the ground spikes. It comes with once those are in. It is actually very very stable. It does exactly what we needed it to do. Once assembled it is great and remarkably sturdy…however it is deffo a 2 person job as has so many parts…screws…nuts etc. and can’t be done by one person…Also the instructions are rather complicated in places. Overall though a great shed for the price and exactly what I wanted but if hiring people to erect it…( as I did) it’s a slow time consuming assembly which will you will need to add to the cost so worth considering a pre assembled shed would be more cost effective and easier….. Really practical shed. Good quality materials and easy to follow instructions to put it together. I have awarded 4 stars and not 5 for the following reasons On a few panels the hole were not pre-drilled and this wasn’t obvious until it was all together. Easy to fix but I’m lucky and have lots of tools There is no easy way of securing this to the base.
