Our daughter loves her 'ladder bed'. It seems sturdy enough for a good few years (she's almost 3). There is a slight wobble if an adult shakes it but I think that's fine as it's a kids bed! The instructions were a bit dodgy as the pictures didn't always match the writing, but it was still clear enough that we could figure it out. We like that it's a strong, simple construction, that gives us maximum space for toys /storage underneath (some more expensive cabin beds actually waste space as their cupboards don't use the full space underneath) So it's practical and good value for money.
