This is surprisingly good for the price. Sturdy desk, good design, high quality surface finish even though it's fake wood, easy assembly. I was worried about hitting my shins on the shelf below the desk surface, but the desk has enough depth for that not to be much of a problem. The only somewhat unfortunate feature that I found is that the shelf happens to be at a height where it covers up wall sockets that at the typical UK height. Most elements of the CLB 355 Writing Desk are made of extra-thick panels. This creates a solid look while making it very light. The filing cabinet on the left features three drawers with plenty of storage space. The side cabinet with adjustable shelves and open storage compartments offers room for printers or large document files.
