We had a hard tub for over ten years and it finally died. After looking long and hard we decided to try the Wave. We have used it almost every night and other than thinking the bubbler could go a bit longer than 20 minutes before it has to rest, its been very nice. Even my 9-year-old son is already quite tall, so we are definitely a tall family with long legs. We can all sit in this hot tub, but realistically, it’s more comfortable for kids than for two adults and two kids. That said, this isn’t really a deciding factor for me. I actually prefer to use the hot tub alone, with a glass of wine and some nice music playing. For what it is, this hot tub is a 10 out of 10. It comfortably reaches 104 degrees, setup was incredibly easy (the YouTube video made it simple), and I absolutely love the bubbles. The only thing I miss is having jets like a traditional hot tub—but again, that’s not a dealbreaker. I did purchase the energy-saving package, and I absolutely think it’s worth it. The cover is incredibly easy to put on and take off. I actually wish our above-ground pool came with a cover that snaps on as easily as this one does—the design is brilliant. Overall, this hot tub was a fantastic purchase and one of the best decisions I’ve made. Took us about 2 hours to set up and fill with water, which included us bucketing some hot water in as well as the hose to speed up the process of filling and heating it up. I purchased the starter chemical kit which is easy enough to use too. Plenty of space for the 2 of us - 4 people might be a bit of a squeeze.
