However, I would have liked the Tower piece to have the option of a shelf and for the separate pieces to be absolutely flush next to each. This is a nice desk with decent quality of wood that has weight and a nice finish to it. The instructions are optimistic at an hour build time. It took me about 3 hours in all as fitting the top lid was tough due to the weight. There is slight movement in the desk but it is sturdy enough for computer use.
