I started to use the pod coffee machines and I must admit that I've got fed up with using those. I have to admit that the Retro Coffee Machine is so much better. Everything tastes so good, obviously coffee differs with each brand but when you find the one that suits, great. I won't go back to pod machines myself but will keep mine as my friend has her coffee that way. Thank you for the good price as well.. Linda. GB. Sat Jun 27 2026

This filter coffee machine experience a little miracle. Retro wave? No way! The filter coffee machine has been reliably making up to 2 cups of coffee since 1979. There is space for this small and unique filter coffee machine even in the smallest kitchen!

This product met my expectation - and is very suitable for me. I usually only get one cup of coffee at the time. Would have been good if one could also buy some Melitta filters 100 - as they are very difficult to find in the shops in Dublin area. However, the coffee machine is very good - I cut the filters I have to the right size.. Karin. Skerries, Dub. Sun May 04 2025

I absolutely love this coffee maker. It is well-made. The removable water reservoir is great. We go through a lot of coffee makers it seems, because we’re big coffee drinkers, but this is probably one of the best that I bought so far.. Della. Idaho. Tue Aug 15 2023

The Café Olé CFD Cafetière is a robust, practical, and stylish coffee maker, available in a huge range of sizes and colour finishes. Made from sturdy 304 stainless steel, the cafetière is designed to be long-lasting and survive drops, bumps, and scrapes. With a double wall construction and sealable spout, the CFD cafetière will keep coffee at drinking temperature for longer than glass models and features a hollow handle that remains cool to the touch while serving! CFD cafetières come in 350ml, 800ml, 1 Litre, and 1.5 Litre sizes and a range of unique colour finishes; Satin, Mirror Polished, and Red, Black, or Grey Granite. Each cafetière will be the centrepiece of your teaware set and produce expertly filtered, barista-style coffee in the comfort of your own home!

The mesh filter initially scraped against the sides when actuated, which was unpleasant. After using it a few times I no longer notice this at all. The finish on the edge of the spout (in contact with anything poured) is chipped slightly - leaving a dark, rough edge. Otherwise a generally very solid construction with decent welds. The pour is very nice (rotate the lid into the correct position). The lid is not at risk of moving during pour and does not need holding down - I have tested filling it and turning it completely upside-down with no issue (your experience may vary).. Anonymous.
