When getting over the ordeal of the build, really pleased with the beds. Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Delivery was on time; bed appears solid, well made and of good colour. Went together fairly easily, however each side of the bed had no pilot holes where the central middle metal bar was supposed to be attached. The bar was a little short in length (5-8mm), meaning the screws had to be fitted at a slight outward angle to prevent them splitting the wood they were being screwed into.. Tim L. West Mids. Made from solid beech and oak wood, this wood bed features a natural, oiled finish highlighting the wood’s rich grain while ensuring long-lasting strength. The bed is lovely and assembly relatively easy - would have given 5 stars but the slats don't come automatically, you have to order them separately which seems weird. The actual slats are great but the assembly is pretty painful. Instructions are mediocre and we'd put several of the slats together before we realised that they had to be threaded into the fabric runner so we had to start again. Overall assembly took about 2 hours. Finished product is very good though.. Pat. Tue Nov 25 2025
