I’ve given this 4 stars as a part was damaged on arrival. However, it wasn’t a significant part so I didn’t complain. I was happy to receive the chair a week earlier than expected, though I still had to wait 2 weeks but given there must be lots of homeworkers wanting chairs due to covid, I didn’t mind. The instructions were pretty basic with no writing at all, just pictures, but I managed to figure it all and assemble on my own. There were no instructions for the levers in that to raise the seat level, you have to stand up first. The backrest moves backwards when you move the lever but doesn’t lock into position. Arrived quickly it was a job and a half to build the chair my son would of liked the back to be higher to support his head and neck better he finds it a bit low ( All in all sturdy chair all parts present and instructions were ok except for screws could of been identified to make for easier assembly. What a difference a good chair makes! I'd being struggling with back pains over the last few weeks and ascribed it to a combination of not moving or exercising as much due to vacation. It turned out to be the previous chair I was using. The lumbar support is brilliant and even with the handrest down, slides nicely under my table while my previous chair couldn't. The only niggles I have come across so far are the net-like designs on the seat and handrest that will soon become a magnet for dirt. Just a few days and I've had to use various pointy objects to pick things out. Probably due to the chair's very light weight and easy-rolling casters, it slides all too easily over my hard floor mat. I bought this chair due to the current working from home situation as my original chair was lovely but was not made to be used 8-10 hours per day. I needed something more comfortable & supportive and knew I needed a more robust executive model - I am really glad I did as this chair is really comfortable, wider seat and can tilt as needed. It looks and feels like a great quality chair. Not that difficult to assemble...in fact, my youngest daughter (15) put it together for me in under an hour while I continued to work...all I had to do was tighten a few bits when she was done.
