Really impressed with this bunkbed. I ordered on Thursday and it was delivered on Friday. It took two of us about 4 hours to put together but we did glue the dowels in place. I love this I don't know why people are saying the material is bad. I think they only say the because the person who assembled it for them was horrible at it. The bed is lovely and assembly relatively easy - would have given 5 stars but the slats don't come automatically, you have to order them separately which seems weird. The actual slats are great but the assembly is pretty painful. Instructions are mediocre and we'd put several of the slats together before we realised that they had to be threaded into the fabric runner so we had to start again. It is a lovely looking bed and rather sturdy. Putting together was ok, a couple of bits were confusing, but worked it out in the end. Instructions at first looked daunting, but once I got started it wasn’t too bad. You can’t use an electric screwdriver on most of it, so a bit of muscle power is needed, as some places where the screw goes in doesn’t have hole , which did confuse me, but it all turned out good. Our daughter loves her 'ladder bed'. It seems sturdy enough for a good few years (she's almost 3). There is a slight wobble if an adult shakes it but I think that's fine as it's a kids bed! The instructions were a bit dodgy as the pictures didn't always match the writing, but it was still clear enough that we could figure it out. We like that it's a strong, simple construction, that gives us maximum space for toys /storage underneath (some more expensive cabin beds actually waste space as their cupboards don't use the full space underneath) So it's practical and good value for money.
