Bed was damaged and they sent me out a replacement thankfully I kept hold of damaged one as the replacement was also damaged. So between 2 damaged ones I got the bed done but not very professional at all one being broken is bad enough but 2 is obviously a manufacture issue. Bed once together is lovely.. Shell. It is not a week since I built this bed for my 4 year old. He really likes, and has had no problems getting used to it for sleeping and playing. The construction is first rate, and it is clear that care and attention has gone into every step. Different types of wood and joint are used, each one carefully selected for the job at hand. It took 3-4 hours for me to build it on my own: give yourself plenty of time! We were expecting the bed to come with a curtain, as you see in the online images, but this was not the case.
