This is a great chair for the price, it has issues but mostly in places that it doesn’t matter. I don’t think you will find a better chair if you are tall and want full back support,want height adjustment, tilt/rock function and adjustable arm rests, and it provides these well. It’s comfy and moves silently (a must for me being next to my baby’s room) and I’ve already put many hours in on this seat. Now for issues, the plastic casing/shroud on the seat is extremely thin and was cracked on mine upon arrival, an entirely cosmetic defect though, the handle/locking mechanism for the tilt adjustment can be very loud, i have oiled it and it’s been a lot better since, the rock function is nice although it doesn’t lock in the back position (like other chairs) meaning rock function is On or Off and locked into standard position, finally the wings on the seat do cut in a tiny bit (I’m a hefty guy) but not much, if I had bought this to watch movies in it may be an issue but I’m always playing games. Has to be said none of the issues have cause me any significant problems, and I am very happy with the chair. TL;DR - A great all-rounder for a pc chair, cheap price means some cheap areas are cheap quality but not in any area that affects functionality and I would recommend this chair for PC gamers.. Very pleased with the Messina chair. The most impressive thing is the general build quality, everything feels incredibly solid and well constructed. Instructions for assembly are simple and the screws are stored in letter coded blister packs meaning step by step assembly is easy. Be warned, the chair is very heavy and so two people will be needed to assemble it completely. I needed two people to lift the product into our 2nd story apartment. Quality feels excellent and there's a huge range of adjustments. Only two minor points 1) the lumbar cushion is not fixed and falls off more often than not and 2) the covering of the actual seating part is a little "loose" and doesn't comfort to the cushioning underneath - after a week's use there's a sign of stretch in the fabric. This product is poorly made. First one they sent was faulty- no screw holes in the seat so I couldn't assemble. Waited ages for a replacement seat to be sent - and that one was faulty too as the holes did not line up with the holes in the frame, meaning assembly was again impossible. Not just me - several competent family members tried and also failed. I had a back hip injury some time ago so I need a comfortable chair. I tried using a gaming chair since the foot rest is also an option with that kind of chair. But this right here is much more comfortable. If your a short guy the footrest might not pull out enough, or might just make it, so know that.
