Ordering was a breeze and all pieces arrived quickly. But the set up instructions are TERRIBLE. The pics in the manual are out of focus and no help. The videos on the website are also very little help. There are parts mentioned one time in the manual that are not listed anywhere else nor is there a picture of them. The app is also a joke. Thankfully, after searching, we found some YouTube videos that were helpful. All that said, once assembled, I am really enjoying the hot tub. We’re two weeks in with no issues so far.. Kellyc. I bought this about three weeks ago. Love it, been in most days, easy to test. It’s a shame the cover is heavy and bulky because I would like to use the spa more however I can’t take the cover off on my own. Not noticing a high reading on my electricity bill so the insulation must work well. Heating good and the jets massage to perfection, once blown up nice and stable.. Rosieredcat. Mon Sep 14 2026

We never really considered a Lay z spa (thinking they are inferior to a proper spa) but due to health thought it was a good idea to aid recovery. We were gobsmacked with the quality, the easy set up and would fully advise anyone to purchase. We watched the videos to help and can not see us being without one now. The app is a great addition as well, as we are able to control it from anywhere. The offers on the site are good when buying spa products. As ours is quite big there does not seem to be a Thermal Cover as yet to buy I think that should be available for the oval shape...the Mauritius has so much room and fits a bunch of happy children. The whole family love it especially the grandchildren, overall well worth the investment.. Spaqueen. Tue Sep 02 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously had an older model Lay-Z-Spa, the New York is a step up. It just feels slightly more premium. It seems to hold its shape a little better and weight wise is easy enough to move around(pre filling of course). It performs really well, as other Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs I have owned do too and is a great purchase. So far it seems very durable and the noise is pretty standard fare for a hot tub. All in all a good buy!. Connora. Sat Mar 28 2026
