Its front gutter and hidden gasket direct rain and snow off to the sides, keeping your entrance clear. This do-it-yourself product is made of high-end materials to ensure durability for many years of use and its locking system makes assembly easy.

We had been looking for something that would give us shelter and protection outside our front door for years! A custom made porch was too expensive and rather ugly! Then we saw the Aquila Door Canopy. It looked modern, stylish and sturdy. It was not going to be easy to assemble as our front door is a corner entrance. We had to change the method of assembly as we could only approach the canopy from one side! The metal structures were quite heavy, but the screws and raw plugs were of high quality and did the job! You can lean ladders against the canopy.....it proved to be very strong. We are very pleased with the canopy and we are sure it will stand up to the elements! Time will tell!. Anthony. The instructions for the assembly and installation of this product are beyond a simple DIY person. Only experienced DIY people should takle this awning because:- 1. The instructions are in gibberish translated from chinese by a chinese person and do not make clear sence. 2. Some instructions are missing, particularly where to fasten the mounting brackets on the wall. 3. Where and how to mount the 'blockers'. 4. The fixing bolts for the brackets are not suitable for using with hollow bricks. New fixings had to be bought. 5. It is impossible to mount the unit on the wall once it has been completely assembled due to the weight and being able to mark and secure the bolts on the brackets. 6. The mounting brackets should be fixed with only the mounting bar, before the canvass and roller have been added to it. 7. The bolts to hold the unit to the brackets cannot be fitted as instructed because the roller and canvass obscure the holes for the bolts. They have to be inserted from below, not above as instructed. 8. Once built using initiative and mods to the instructions and new fixing bolts it has performed very well.. Tom. Harrogate, GB. We were looking for a free standing awning to shade one side of our 3m x 3m pergola. This awning was the perfect answer. A couple of cable ties to hold it in place and the job was done! Construction was straightforward BUT you have to have the winding mechanism on the left. This means the roller only goes one way, so be careful to wind the cloth right-side up as there is a (slight) difference between the sides. Great value and highly recommended.. Mr M B. Chaldon, GB. This is awesome! I needed to provide privacy for the hot tub on my back deck, but my HOA does not allow high fencing of any kind.
